Regularly scheduled recreational activities:

  • Adult Crafting - every Thursday

  • BINGO - 3 times monthly

  • Birthday/Anniversary party - 1st Friday each month-   Free meal drawing

  • Live Music - 5 times a month

  • Scrapbooking Club - last Tuesday of each month

  • Senior Dance - 4th Wednesday of each month;            City of Jackson Sponsor

  • Celebrate the Holidays at the Center - with a party

  • Manicures - 1st Mon each month

  • Site Council - 4th Mon each month

  • Dessert raffle -  2nd Fri each month

  • Greeting Cards Class- 4th Fri each month

  • Quilting

  • Jigsaw Puzzles

 

Health and Welfare Activities:

  • Blood pressure clinic - 1st Wed each month

  • Hearing aid cleaning monthly

  • Foot Clinic- trim, cut & file - monthly

  • Smart Senior Paperwork Services - monthly

  • Various informational programs on legal issues, vision, diabetes, Alzheimer's, & nutrition education

  • Exercise Class- Monday & Wednesday, weekly

  • Pickup point for Senior Commodities in Jackson area

Our mission at Aging Matters is to develop a coordinated delivery system of services to assist and enable older Missourians to remain in their own homes as long as possible and enhance the quality of life for all older Missourians.
